The owner should seriously invest in upgrading the furniture!!! Stains and sweat marks on couches and chairs. The check-in process needs more staff. Waiting ages for a key is frustrating!!! Small bathroom lighting is unacceptable!!!

Excellent staff, really good service, fantastic location and not too precious or pretentious.
It was a bit noisy, but I think that was because there was a wedding on at the same time as we were there, nothing major though.

It is a magnificent and nice little property located in St Kilda district just off great restaurants and cafes and the Acland St cafes...

100% recommend for a concise stay
Cozy room, friendly staff, with a complimentary welcome drink at the bar that added a nice touch to my stay as I enjoyed breakfast each morning in the restaurant before easily exploring the nearby attractions just a short walk away.
Everything was spot on.

Cool venue, lovely food, awesome location close to everything in St Kilda. Exceptionally good views over the ocean and park from delightful rooms, wonderful employees.

The Prince is a unique hotel because of its position and vibe. It is a genuine 'boutique' hotel, and offers a more home like experience than a large chain hotel of similar standard. There is something undeniably 'cool' about the Prince, reflected in the staff, the food, the rooms and the decor.
Noise can still be an issue at the Prince, but it goes with the territory.

Had a fantastic time staying here! The room was spotless and just what I needed for my short trip, and I couldn't get enough of the cozy lounge area and the rooftop escape for relaxation. Only hitch was a small charge for a bottle of water I didn't take, but honestly, that's nothing compared to the overall vibe. 😊

Hotel is slick and funky
The noise from the night club until 2am on Monday night/Tues morning which kept me wide awake. On a business trip, like I was, with a 6am telecon and a full day of work ahead, this is not ok and such a shame because the hotel is awesome otherwise.

The process was easy, food from Circa was amazing
We had a reservation at the circa for 8.30, and it wasn't until I went to speak to the hostess at 9.30 that we got seated - she forgot about us. Also, we ordered the chocolate fondue for desert and it was cold (which is obviously not how you expect a fondue)

Excellent location.
Rooms at the front get extreme noise from the pub. We had the worst night we have ever experienced (music til 5:30!)Request a back room.Back rooms do not get the noise from the pub.

Had the best time at the prince hotel! The beautiful queen room was super comfy with crisp sheets and looked so good. The location is perfect, really close to everything! Staff were really friendly and even had speakers in the room. Parking was easy too!
Only downside was some minor noise from other guests and the menu options were kinda limited. Could use a few more choices.

Functional, clean, good breakfast included, good service, good location for trams to city, close by vast choice of restaurants.
Depending on room position, could be bloody noisy with pub music and street traffic just below. Rooms facing inside very quiet.
